Stagehand

This is a temporary, two-year, intermittent, on-call position. The role involves assisting with technical requirements for events in the Center, including moving and setting up equipment, and providing support such as wardrobe, wigs, makeup, or props. Duties are performed under supervision to ensure proper use of equipment and safety.

The Performing Arts Center (PAC) includes a concert hall, recital hall, and pavilion, hosting various performances and events, as well as workshops and community functions.

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships.
• Knowledge of workplace safety and willingness to follow safety practices.
• Ability to perform complex technical setups under stress.
• Quick learner of university infrastructure, policies, and procedures.

Ability to read and write appropriately, follow safety instructions, perform strenuous manual labor, and safely move items over 50 pounds.

Anticipated hourly range: $21.23 - $23.60;
