Works with the charge RN & CV techs to assure coordination and provision of nursing care to patients on specified units and specified shifts.

Assists with cardiovascular and other invasive studies or treatments.

RN, ACLS, must have 2 years of experience as Interventional RN. Shared call 2-3 days and rotating weekends.

Education and Work Experience:

• Associate Degree(A.S.) or equivalent:
  Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing:
  Preferred
• IABP competent or able to become so within 6 months of hire:
  Required
• Three years recent clinical cardiology or cardiovascular experience:
  Required
• One year invasive cardiac cath lab experience.
  
  Two years recent critical care experience.
  
  Previous cath lab experience.:
  Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

• Current RN license in state of practice:

• Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification:
  Required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support):
  Required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS OR HS-PALS OR RQIPALS) certification:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice:
