Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab
TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac Catheterization Lab team. The RN will assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, provide direct patient care before, during, and after procedures, and ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients undergoing cardiovascular treatments.
Job Responsibilities- Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures and obtain informed consent.
- Monitor and assess patients throughout the procedure, including vital signs, sedation levels, and overall condition.
- Administer medications and intravenous therapy as ordered by the physician.
- Assist physicians during procedures such as angiograms, angioplasty, and pacemaker insertions.
- Maintain sterile technique and assist with the setup and operation of specialized equipment.
- Provide post‑procedure care, including monitoring for complications and educating patients and families.
- Document all nursing care, assessments, and responses accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the interventional cardiology team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Active RN license in the state of practice.
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN or BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum 1–2 years of recent experience in a Cath Lab or critical care setting preferred.
- ACLS and BLS certification required.
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, hemodynamics, and sterile technique.
- Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and patient‑care skills.
