• Plan and provide nursing care to patients in the step-down unit.
• Accurately interpret ECG rhythms and manage care during life-threatening emergencies.
• Monitor patient status, adjust plans of care, and respond to clinical changes promptly.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to ancillary personnel consistent with their scope of practice.
• Collaborate with team members, including CNAs, to ensure safe and effective patient care.

• Active registered nurse license (California) or equivalent credential for practice in the state.
• Step-down unit nursing experience or demonstrated competency in that setting.
• Proficient interpretation of ECG rhythms and management of related emergencies.
• Ability to work in a hospital setting and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Strong collaboration and delegation skills with ancillary staff (e.g., CNAs).
