Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist on assignment, you will perform and supervise a broad spectrum of routine and advanced laboratory testing across hematology, chemistry, immunology, microbiology, and blood bank disciplines. You’ll troubleshoot instrumentation, validate new methodologies, review quality control, and ensure regulatory compliance (CLIA, CAP, OSHA) in daily operations. You’ll interpret results, prepare accurate reports, collaborate with clinicians, and participate in process improvements to optimize efficiency and patient safety.

You’ll also contribute to staff training, mentor junior technologists, and support LIS workflow, specimen handling, and specimen integrity throughout the testing process.
