- Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, price codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
- Write simple correspondence.
- Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
- Apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently 45 pounds, and occasionally 60 pounds.

The Opportunity
The Part‑time Retail Associate performs management‑assigned duties, which may include stocking and maintaining a store section, carry‑out services, and store cleaning.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a store section and stock merchandise using proper equipment (no power/heavy equipment).
- Ensure proper pricing, check product date codes, rotate stock, and restock shelves, end displays, floor stacks, displays, and refrigerated/frozen cases.
- Prepare perishable products for sale as needed.
- Set up advertising/promotional displays.
- Clean and maintain sanitation standards in all interior and exterior store areas and parking lot as directed by store management.
- Offer friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous assistance to customers, providing them with current product information.
- Assist customers with loading purchases into their vehicles when requested.
- Perform basic bookkeeping duties, including recording lost/damaged goods and store supplies, using appropriate tools.
