Bus Driver

Overview

Driver – we are looking for an experienced Bus Driver to join our team in San Luis Obispo, CA. As a key member you will ensure safe and comfortable transportation for passengers while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

• $21.00 per hour with progression to $27.25 over 6 years.
• Additional $3.25 per hour incentive pay for hours worked.
• Automatic bi‑annual wage increases.

• Paid vacation: 1 week Year 1, 2 weeks Year 2, 3 weeks Year 5, 4 weeks Year 10.
• Paid sick leave: one (1) hour for each thirty (30) hours worked up to a maximum of forty (40) hours per year.

• Execute flawless operations by following designated routes and schedules while adhering to safety protocols and traffic regulations.
• Provide exceptional passenger care, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation.
• Maintain vehicle safety through comprehensive pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, promptly reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring cleanliness and safety equipment readiness.
• Uphold company policies rigorously, including seat belt enforcement, emergency response preparedness, and regulatory compliance.
• Other duties as required.

• 21 years or older.
• Valid CDL Class A or B with passenger endorsement; airbrake endorsement is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Availability to work day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts as assigned.
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.

• Must be able to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed.
• Job requires long periods of sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
• Work environment includes both indoor and outdoor settings.
