Job Title: HR RECRUITING ASSISTANT
Location(s): San Marcos - At this time, we are only considering local candidates who are legally authorized to work in the United States. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
Scheduled Days & Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Wages: $21-23 per hour, DOE
Estimated Hours Per Week: 40 hours, overtime may be required
Ideal Candidate Criteria: The ideal HR Recruiting Assistant will be a tactful, skilled administrative assistant with a friendly and helpful personality, with advanced experienced in Outlook, Word and Excel software. The ability to communicate well, enter data accurately and quickly, learn and retain information and effectively manage multiple tasks is required.
Job Duties:
Pre-screen applications and conduct phone interviews.
Setting up in-person/video interviews for managers.
Keep in touch with department managers to know their department needs.
Extensive data entry required to track applicants who have been contacted and add notes to internal tracking.
Track progression of applicants throughout the pre-hire process.
Schedule orientations when applicants have completed the pre-hire process.
Cover the front desk when needed: route calls, sign in visitors, issue badges and maintain logs.
Help distribute mail and packages as needed.
Maintain a neat front office when covering and greeting visitors.
Prepare interview packets for in-person interviews and set up interview room as needed.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Have basic knowledge of HR related laws and regulations; able to maintain confidentiality and privacy.
Have strong attention to detail and accuracy with organizational skills and follow through.
Have multi-tasking skills and flexibility in responding to changing processes & demands.
Prompt and regular attendance
Other duties as assigned.
Skills Needed:
Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook and Google Sheets is required. Preferred ATS experience with Clear Company & ADP.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk or hear and sit. The employee may occasionally walk and climb stairs, push, pull; lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
