We are seeking a Construction Project Coordinator for a full-time, onsite direct hire opportunity in Vista, CA. This role supports a busy construction Project Management team with scheduling, documentation, communication, and project follow-up for residential and commercial projects.
This is a strong opportunity for someone who is organized, proactive, and interested in growing their construction project management career. This position offers strong potential to grow into a Project Manager role with supportive leadership and hands-on exposure to construction operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative and project coordination support to Project Managers on active construction projects.
- Coordinate schedules, appointments, materials, project documentation, punch-list items, and customer service requests.
- Communicate with homeowners, contractors, superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and internal team members.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical project files, including contracts, SOVs, and related construction documents.
- Use Moraware for project scheduling, document management, and project tracking.
- Follow up with project stakeholders to help ensure timelines, deliverables, and open items stay on track.
- Compensation: $30 to $35 per hour.

- 2+ years of administrative, project coordination, or related support experience.
- Construction industry experience, especially in residential, commercial, office, fabrication, installation, or specialty trade environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear and professional communication skills for working with homeowners, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, adapt quickly, and follow through on project details.
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record.
- Experience using Moraware for scheduling, project tracking, or document management.
- Ability to read construction drawings.
- Knowledge of natural stone, countertops, fabrication, or installation.
- Familiarity with counter top details, including edges and sinks.
- Understanding of SOVs, construction contracts, project accounting, and OCIP insurance.
