The Department of Sociology at California State University San Marcos accepts applications on an on-going basis for our pool of part-time lecturers for courses in Sociology and Criminology & Justice Studies. Salary is commensurate with credential and experience.
- Teach courses in Sociology and Criminology & Justice Studies.
- Master's degree in the area of instruction or a closely related field.
- Compliance with the California State University’s Out-of-State Employment Policy.
- Doctorate or terminal degree in the area of instruction or a closely related field.
- Higher education experience teaching Sociology and/or Criminology & Justice Studies.
- Intercultural competence and commitment to serving a diverse campus community.
- Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $5,507 - $8,000 per full-time month.
- Classification:
Lecturer A – AY: $5,507 - $6,677 per full-time month;
Lecturer B – AY: $6,221 - $13,224 per full-time month.
