The Department of Computer Science & Engineering at California State University San Marcos seeks a part‑time lecturer for Spring 2026 to teach CS 200-10:
Selected Topics in Computing.
Selected topics in computing and information technology.
Minimum Qualifications- A master’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- Working in California is a condition of employment, as required by the California State University Out‑of‑State Employment Policy.
- A doctorate or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience teaching similar courses at four‑year universities.
- Demonstrated intercultural competence and a commitment to serving a diverse campus community.
Salary commensurate with degree level and experience. Anticipated hiring salary range: $5,507 – $6,008 per full‑time month. The schedule for the Lecturer – Academic Year classification is $5,507 – $6,677 per full‑time month.
