Join iCook After School as an After‑School Cooking and STEAM Instructor. This role involves teaching elementary students (K‑4) cooking, nutrition, and STEAM concepts in a fun, hands‑on environment.

• Lead after‑school cooking/STEAM classes for elementary students (K‑4), encouraging them to try new recipes, experiments, foods, and cultures.
• Teach provided lesson plans covering basics of nutrition, healthy eating, and engaging science concepts.
• Introduce kids to basic cutting and measuring techniques, food safety, table manners, and other curriculum concepts.
• Purchase groceries for each class based on the recipes provided; groceries are reimbursed separately.

• Experience working with large groups of kids (school setting, summer camp, etc.).
• Enthusiastic about teaching, cooking, and nutrition.
• Effective classroom management skills.
• Energetic personality able to keep students engaged.
• Punctuality, reliability, and access to reliable transportation.

• All classes run in the afternoon between 2‑5 pm, depending on the school, and typically last one hour.
• Teachers are paired with schools located conveniently for them on the days that work best for them.
• Maximum of 5 classes per week (one class per day) based on availability.
• Pay is $80 per class (1‑hour). The rate covers approximately two hours of work, including 1‑hour class time, preparation, and cleanup.
