The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for conducting neurovascular and other sonographic exams on patients under the direct orders of a physician. The Technician is accountable at all times for patient safety.

• Know Ultrasound Technician scope of practice and work within it, accountable at all times to an attending physician.
• Prepare exam rooms and patients for ultrasound examinations; maintain ultrasound equipment and machinery; notify supervisor immediately of equipment defects.
• Perform an adequate time-out period, verifying that the procedure to be performed will be performed on the correct patient for the correct study.

• Vascular Ultrasound technician education or other related education either in progress or completed.
• TCD experience preferred.
• RVT preferred.
• Healthcare experience required.

• Furnish proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

• Self-motivated and desire to learn and grow in healthcare.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, providers and payors.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask efficiently and effectively.
• Strong commitment to actively supporting an ethical working environment.
• Strong knowledge of computer-based systems such as Excel, Word, and the Internet with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

• Per-diem or Part-time.
