Under the guidance of the Department Chair and Simulation Director, the Technology Specialist will provide comprehensive simulation support to the San Marcos campus. The role provides technical and mechanical support for the Speech‑Language Clinic and simulation labs. The coordinator will work closely with the campus leads as a central resource for faculty, students, the campus community, and community partners.
Position SummarySpeech Language Pathology Technology Support Specialist (Technology Support Specialist I). This is a full‑time, temporary, non‑exempt position ending on or before one year from the date of hire. Reappointment is dependent upon performance, administrative, and budgetary considerations. The university reserves the right to terminate this appointment earlier than the scheduled expiration date.
Pay, Benefits, and Work ScheduleAnticipated hiring salary: $4,595 per month.
CSU Classification Salary Range: $4,595 – $6,694 per month.
Salary is commensurate with the background and experience of the selected individual.
This position is eligible for a broad range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, retirement (CalPERS), tuition waiver, vacation and sick leave. In addition, 15 paid holidays are offered each year; 14 scheduled on specific days and a Personal Holiday may be taken at any time during the year.
