Position: 1:1 Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Pediatric School Nurse - Full-Time

Overview:

• In-person
• San Marcos
• M-F, Full Time
• Pay Range: $30 - $35

Responsibilities:

• Manage the care of a 1x1 student with chronic health conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes, Trachs/Vents, G-tubes) by coordinating with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents
• Maintain accurate and confidential health record
• Communicate with parents regarding their child's health status, concerns, and recommended follow-up care
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time
• Potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds)

Qualifications:

• CA state nursing license
• Must Be Okay With Trachs
• CPR/BLS certification
• Current negative TB result
