The Seasonal Sp Unit Staff RN provides professional nursing care as a leader of the healthcare team, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care. This role is ideal for nurses who are flexible and committed to delivering quality patient care.

• Pay: $75 - $79/hour
• Location: San Marcos, CA
• Facility: San Marcos Hospital
• Department/Unit: Intensive Care Unit
• Schedule: Full-time, Night shift

• Provide professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
• Uphold Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures.
• Serve as a leader of the healthcare team and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Develop and contribute to individualized plans of care.
• Monitor patient progress and revise care plans as needed.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of nursing processes.
• Discuss patient findings and progress with physicians and healthcare team members.
• Practice customer service standards and ensure patient confidentiality.
• Participate in departmental performance improvement activities.
• Mentor, orient, and coach others in unit-specific operations.

• Completion of RN Program

• 1-year recent experience in Critical Care or completion of a KP-approved Critical Care course within the last 12 months

• Registered Nurse License (California)
• Basic Life Support certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required
