What You’ll Do- Assist with specialized pruning and tree take‑downs, using equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and hand tools.
- Demonstrate proper tree wounding/pruning techniques and handle trimming up to 20 feet high.
- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Participate in safety meetings and implement best practices.
- Identify trees and diseases and lead small work crews safely and efficiently.
- Support the Tree Worker 2 in tree‑related activities.
- Deliver exceptional service to clients, work‑site partners, and Bemus staff in a courteous and efficient manner.
- A team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to take direction and communicate effectively.
- Physically fit, capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling 20‑50 lbs.
- Fluent in reading and writing English.
- A valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
