Clinical Laboratory Scientist

Description

Testing:
Conduct tests across all lab disciplines (Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunohematology, etc.) for all age groups (neonatal to geriatric). Quality Assurance:
Monitor test data, perform quality control, conduct preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot instrument/method issues. Result Management:
Analyze and report test results, identifying critical values and notifying appropriate staff.

Collaboration:

Consult with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Compliance:
Adhere to Kaiser Permanente policies, CLIA regulations, and state/federal laws, maintaining patient confidentiality.

Generalist, CLIA

California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) License. Proficiency in laboratory principles, theories, and techniques. Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Familiarity with automated instrumentation, molecular testing, and various platforms.

Entry Level

This is a Contract position based out of San Marcos, CA. This is a fully onsite position in San Marcos, CA.

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
