Reports To: VP of Sales and Marketing, Verde Property Services
Position Overview: Chula Vista Landscaping, a premier commercial landscaping brand under Verde Property Services, is seeking an ambitious and results‑driven Business Development Manager to fuel growth in the Tucson market. This is a high‑impact role for a motivated sales professional with a proven track record of closing deals, building client relationships, and exceeding revenue targets.
The ideal candidate thrives in a competitive environment, is self‑motivated, and possesses both the strategic mindset and the hustle to aggressively grow our commercial landscaping portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Aggressively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in Tucson and surrounding areas, including commercial property management companies, HOAs, municipalities, and private clients.
- Build, manage, and expand a strong pipeline of prospective clients, driving measurable revenue growth.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate target markets and achieve aggressive sales goals.
- Prepare, present, and negotiate proposals, bids, and contracts with prospective clients.
- Collaborate with operations, estimating, and service teams to ensure client needs are fully understood and delivered upon.
- Track, report, and analyze sales activity, pipeline, and performance metrics, providing regular updates to the VP of Sales and Marketing.
- Represent Chula Vista Landscaping at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to generate leads and brand awareness.
- Stay current on market trends, competitor activity, and industry best practices to maintain a competitive advantage.
- 3–5+ years of business development or sales experience, ideally in commercial landscaping, property management, or related service industries.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of commercial landscaping services and operational considerations.
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple opportunities, and execute a high‑volume sales strategy.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
