The Department of Mathematics at Texas State University is seeking to hire a tenure-track or tenured Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor starting Fall 2026.
The successful candidate is expected to:
- establish and maintain a strong record of high-quality research in Data Science, Machine Learning, and/or Artificial Intelligence,
- teach mathematics and/or statistics courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels,
- supervise student projects at the undergraduate and graduate levels,
- participate in service to the university community and broader profession, and
- meet the required qualifications for the applied rank.
