Multi-Unit Team Leader

Join to apply for the Multi-Unit Team Leader role at H&R Block
. You’ll lead three H&R Block tax offices, guiding customer-centric teams to accelerate the seasonal tax business. Prior tax preparation experience is not required.

You’ll start a flexible part-time schedule in the fall to prepare for the busy tax season. From January to April, you will transition to full-time, including evenings and weekends as needed. This role is in-person and not remote.

• Provide leadership and development for associates across three tax offices, delivering an outstanding client experience and achieving growth objectives.
• Serve as front-line manager for leadership and development of associates; manage office operations and staffing with support from Associate Team Leaders.
• Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates.
• Create associate work schedules across all offices, ensure accurate timekeeping, and manage labor across offices.
• Travel between offices as required.
• Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.

• People management experience with ability to develop associates
• Aptitude for executing growth plans and fostering a growth-oriented culture
• Strong decision-making and judgment skills; able to perform in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset
• Computer proficiency with MS Office
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or a high school diploma with equivalent experience
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns)
