We are looking for a detail‑oriented and dedicated Clinical Laboratory Specialist to join our team in San Marcos. The ideal candidate will have experience in laboratory procedures, quality control, and data analysis, ensuring accurate results that support patient care.

• Location: San Marcos, TX

• Role: Clinical Laboratory Specialist
• Pay Scale: $53, 248 – $66, 560 (Dependent on Experience)

• Perform duties related to tests, instruments, and reagents, identifying potential instrument or reagent problems and escalating to the Lead.
• Maintain the workplace in a clean and organized manner.
• Maintain proper PPE sample/material handling; log all incoming materials.
• Maintain technical competencies; ensure annual competencies are up-to-date, aligning CE with competencies.
• Perform high‑/mid‑complexity and simple routine tests.

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Immunology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, or related field; CLS (ASCP) or equivalent is a plus.
• Entry:
  No previous experience required.
• 12 months or less of experience in a clinical or research laboratory environment is a plus.
• Practical knowledge of immunohematology and molecular procedures, including NAT testing.
• Proficient in MS Office Suites.
• Excellent organizational skills.
