$24.00/hr - $26.00/hr

The Sheet Metal Foreman I will report directly to the Project Superintendent and will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Sheet Metal Technicians to deliver quality and customer service. The role involves working closely with leadership to meet company goals and generate profits.

• Develop solutions to prevent issues from becoming problems.
• Review projects with the Superintendent and/or Project Manager after equipment and subcontractors are procured.
• Conduct physical surveys of projects with the Superintendent to assess conditions and report findings.
• Create takeoffs for projects promptly and accurately with the Superintendent.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site activities, including scheduling, material control, and rentals.
• Provide daily updates on job completion percentages.
• Ensure all site personnel follow safety protocols, company policies, and project procedures. Document incidents and notify management, recommending corrective actions.
• Ensure weekly reports are completed and submitted, including safety reports, preconstruction, weekly production, and project-specific reports.
• Inspect jobsites to ensure standards are met, prepare jobs for startup, and coordinate with contractors, engineers, and owners as needed.
• Coordinate with the shop for production scheduling and deliveries.
• Require 4+ years of experience; journeyman status or ability to obtain license.
• Ability to read blueprints and prepare materials lists.
• Strive to increase team efficiency and maintain high safety standards.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Be self-motivated, punctual, and professional in appearance and speech.
• Ability to multitask and follow up effectively internally and externally.
• Experience with government facilities is a plus.
