Job SummaryThe Operations Manager oversees all San Antonio branch operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget. This role manages the full lifecycle of our mobile and modular leased asset maintenance, fleet refurbishments, and custom modification projects. The position requires extensive construction management experience with a focus on quality control, budget accountability, safety protocols, and regulatory code compliance. The Operations Manager directly leads all service, transport, and subcontractor teams to ensure seamless daily operations and consistent, high‑quality project delivery.
EssentialFunctions
- Oversee repair, maintenance, and overall condition of all branch lease assets.
- Manage maintenance budgets for the rental fleet, facilities, and power equipment.
- Estimate, execute, and manage refurbishments and custom modifications to meet profit targets and standards.
- Supervise maintenance of branch‑assigned company vehicles and ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
- Maintain accurate rental asset data and ensure readiness of fleet equipment.
- Manage and lead service, transportation, and subcontractor personnel to ensure daily operational success.
- Source, vet, and oversee subcontractors to support project delivery.
- Enforce company safety policies and regulatory compliance across all branch activities.
- Perform and reconcile monthly and scheduled inventories of materials and rental assets.
- Oversee facility maintenance, appearance, and compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with the Procurement team to maintain proper material stock levels.
- Execute and reconcile monthly rental asset inventories.
- Overall responsibility for facility maintenance, appearance, and compliance with local jurisdiction requirements.
- Minimum five (5) years of construction or building maintenance management experience.
- Proficient budget management skills and demonstrated financial acumen.
- Experienced in interpreting construction‑related technical blueprints and facility drawings.
- Exceptional knowledge of construction materials and building techniques.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Possesses strong internal and external customer service skills.
- Ability to provide an acceptable driver’s abstract and maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record per company standards.
- Forklift and scissor lift certification.
- Prior experience in modular construction.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or similar ERP systems.
Physical Requirements
- Climbing up and down on ladders and equipment.
- Ability to work on concrete floors and uneven surfaces.
