About This Role

Are you a self‑motivated, problem solver? If so, Noveon Magnetics would love to speak with you about our Maintenance Technician role! This role is critical to the Maintenance team, performing routine maintenance functions and mechanical and systematic troubleshooting. They help oversee the upkeep of the facilities and equipment that support production.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Performing assigned tasks that include plumbing, mechanical repairs and assisting in installations and general repairs including troubleshooting.
  • Providing planned, scheduled, unscheduled, preventative, and reactive repairs as required to maximize uptime and reliability of production equipment.
  • Operating various company vehicles, including forklifts, man lifts, overhead cranes, etc., and obtain proper training.
  • Conducting other projects, duties, and assignments as needed and assigned by the Maintenance Manager or management.
We Are Looking For Someone Who
  • Has a minimum of 5 years of experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial manufacturing production and material‑handling equipment.
  • Possesses a strong understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Has basic reading skills and must be able to follow directions.
  • Has a High School diploma or GED required;
    Associate Technical Degree preferred.
  • Can read and understand technical documents.
  • Is OSHA 10 Hours Certified.
  • Has excellent problem‑solving skills, understanding of industrial EHS requirements/policies, corrective action efforts/systems improvements, equipment installations, participate in risk/hazard abatement.
  • Can recognize and mitigate potential safety hazards.
  • Is preferably certified within a specific technical or vocational training.
Additionally
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening, medical physical and, if applicable, visual testing.
  • Ability to regularly move 30‑50lbs.
  • Ability to regularly perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to regularly possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately.
