Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) – Overnight Shift (10 PM – 6 AM) at San Marcos Treatment Center, a 212‑bed psychiatric residential facility serving children and adolescents aged 6‑17 in Central Texas.
Responsibilities- Perform physical assessments of patients and implement treatment plans.
- Administer medications as prescribed.
- Provide comprehensive documentation of patient care.
- Educate patients and families regarding health and treatment.
- Serve as shift supervisor of Mental Health Associates, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment.
- Assist in management of the therapeutic milieu and address crisis situations.
- Provide direct patient care and medical management of children, adolescents, and young adults.

- Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
- One year psychiatric or neuropsychiatric experience with adolescents or young adults in a long‑term or residential setting preferred.
- Current Texas professional nurse license and valid driver license.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; maintain confidentiality of patient and employee information.
- Effective organizational skills and ability to implement patient care services within discipline.
- Strong supervisory skills and mental ability to carry out essential job functions.
- Ability to initiate and implement all phases of the nursing process and provide safe nursing care.
