American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring BLS, ACLS, and a TX or compact RN license.
Details- Hospital-based IMC Med/Surg unit position
- 13-week assignment on night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Full-time schedule
- Active RN license (TX or compact)
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA only)
- 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
- BSN preferred
- Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
- Assess learning needs and provide education to patients and families
- Complete annual competency verification requirements
- Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius to be considered local
- Returning employees who previously worked at a CHRISTUS facility must have a 6-month separation before starting a new travel assignment
