Job Title: KITCHEN UTILITY LEAD (Full Time)

Location:

Texas State University, 700 Moore Street, Bldg 30, San Marcos, TX 78666.

Schedule:

Sun–Thur; 10 am–6 pm. Pay: $15.00–$19.00 per hour.

We are hiring immediately. Applicants must have dishwasher experience and be able to lead others.

Assist shift supervisors and department directors in the day‑to‑day function of the department. Maintain high quality in all aspects by training, supporting, supervising, and interacting with team members. Ensure schedules are assigned and completed daily. Set a positive example, interact respectfully with teams, customers, patients, and families, and perform other duties as assigned.

• Deliver quality customer service to customers by providing one‑on‑one attention to detail.
• Provide assignments and assistance to team members.
• Demonstrate proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Relieve shift supervisor in times of absence.
• Adjust or cover schedules as needed during short staffing.
• Ensure team members maintain standards by conducting quality assurance surveys.
• Monitor and report equipment issues or shortages.
• Conduct customer and patient surveys.
• Interact with patients/customers appropriately based on age competencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
