Job DescriptionReporting to the Area Manager, the Sales Representative On‑Premise is responsible for new account acquisition, maintaining high client satisfaction, increasing client retention, and driving revenue growth by ensuring exceptional service and tailored solutions. The role includes engaging key decision‑makers at the store level, influencing purchasing decisions, and increasing brand visibility. Orders are taken at the point of sale and processed efficiently using an iPad.
Responsibilities- Account Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with retail and off‑premise accounts, conduct regular visits to ensure compliance with merchandising standards and proper product placement, execute brand programs, promotions, and schematics, present and place new items, rotate stock, negotiate shelf space and store‑level promotions, collect and process replenishment orders, audit accounts, support special projects, and travel daily within the assigned territory. - Sales Execution:
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals, drive incremental sales by introducing new products, monitor inventory levels, and recommend timely reorders to avoid out‑of‑stocks. - Merchandising & Marketing:
Ensure product displays meet company and retail visual standards, implement and maintain displays, tastings, and other marketing programs, educate retail staff on product knowledge. - Reporting & Administration:
Complete accurate reports, paperwork, POS documentation, track sales activities, market trends, competitor behavior, provide actionable feedback to management, and demonstrate strong time management and multitasking skills. - Behavior & Communication Expectations:
Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality, establish effective working relationships, be approachable, be a trusted resource, deliver excellence, exhibit ownership, accountability, and responsibility, ensure responsiveness, and maintain professional respect. - Competencies:
Customer focus, negotiation skills, drive for results, time management, interpersonal savvy.
- Sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer or mobile device for a considerable amount of time.
- Walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, stooping as required.
- Driving throughout the day with segments up to 2 hours.
- Lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 56 lbs.
- Knowledge of the industry preferred.
- Proven track record in achieving sales goals and executing market programs.
- Strong PC application skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and professionally.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact across teams in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
- Attendance at local meetings, local travel, and occasional out‑of‑town travel.
- Minimum age 21, High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license within company policy and reliable, insured transportation with minimum coverage of $100k bodily injury, $300k liability, $50k property damage.
- Must pass a background and drug screening for hire and randomly throughout employment.
