Mental Health Associate - PT 24 at San Marcos Treatment Center

San Marcos Treatment Center is a 212‑bed, seclusion‑free psychiatric residential treatment facility located between Austin and San Antonio. The facility covers 65 acres and provides a range of therapeutic services, including two swimming pools, gymnasiums, sports court, playing fields, a ropes course, canteen, social area, and healing trail. We provide 24‑hour psychiatric care to girls and boys ages 6 to 17 with customized therapeutic approaches and intensive behavioral programs that help young patients manage emotions, improve social functioning, and moderate behavior.

Responsibilities
:
Provide a safe and therapeutic environment, implement daily program schedule, maintain accurate clinical and administrative documentation, and communicate with co‑workers, supervisors, and team members regarding patient care and safety concerns.

Shift Availability
: 6a – 2p, 2p – 10p, and 10p – 6a. Must have weekend shift availability.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Current CPR certification preferred
• Psychiatric experience preferred (2 years)
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Able to pass a Criminal Background check and Pre‑Employment Drug Screening
