$18.75 per hour + $80 weekly completed shift bonus for working scheduled shifts.

Schedule Options:
The hours for this position may include evenings, overnights, holidays, and weekends but may vary according to projects and deadlines.

Primary Purpose of Job

To assist the Quik Trip driver with safely maneuvering and parking the company vehicle at designated delivery and drop off locations. Unloading and loading of Quik Trip Distribution products to assigned locations.

Major Functions for this Position

Demonstrates Safety awareness and compliance.

• Assist driver while parking at all stores, warehouse, cross dock, and vendor locations.
• Be aware of surroundings during deliveries not interfering with customers.

Courteous to store customers, store personnel, vendors, and the general public.

Operate needed equipment (i.e. cargo ramp, two-wheel dolly, Thermo King Unit, load bars, forklift, scissor lift) in a safe manner following manufacturers and QTD Guidelines.

Assist QTD Driver by unloading trailer, securing the load, loading/unloading, and organizing empty totes, picking up donations in a timely manner.

Stack and merchandise product in compliance with QTD standards to minimize damage to product while loading and unloading.

Pick-up store returns and load in trailer.

Assist Driver in verifying accuracy of product being delivered.

Assist in other areas, departments, and business units within Quik Trip as needed.

Inside the Company:
All QTD personnel, Store employees and corporate staff

Outside the Company:
Store customers, outside vendor drivers (i.e. fuel, chip, pop, beer, etc.) and general public (i.e. motorists).

Position Specifications Requirements for this Position

Education:

High school graduate or equivalent

Experience:

N/A

Skills:

Ability to operate a two-wheeler and lift heavy boxes. Ability to obtain machine operator certificate for forklift, electric pallet jack, & scissor lift

Desired Specifications for this Position

Education:

Graduate of driving institute

Experience:

Prior Warehouse experience

Skills:

Have machine operator certificate complete for forklift, electric pallet jack, & scissor lift.
