We’re seeking an energetic, positive‑minded Assistant Store Manager – Automotive Repair & Maintenance who embraces challenges with enthusiasm and prioritizes guest satisfaction above all else.

$70,000 – $90,000 base + $20,000 – $30,000 bonus + 3% profit sharing

• Supervise and guide a team of automotive technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to quality standards.
• Perform advanced diagnostic tests and repairs on vehicles, serving as a mentor and resource for junior technicians.
• Provide technical guidance and training to enhance the skills and capabilities of team members.
• Collaborate closely with service advisors to ensure clear communication and understanding of customer vehicle concerns.
• Oversee the scheduling of repairs and maintenance jobs to optimize shop productivity and meet customer expectations.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Resolve escalated customer issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.

• Prior experience as an automotive mechanic/technician demonstrating strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Valid driver’s license & clean driving record.
• Excellent problem‑solving and diagnostic skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment to meet or exceed hourly goals.

• Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds.
• Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head.
• Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair.
• Have the needed dexterity to efficiently use hand‑tools.
• Walk/stand for the majority of the workday.
• Drive manual transmission vehicles.
• Keep a brisk work pace in a high‑volume environment.
• Efficiently navigate a computer.
