Job OverviewWe’re seeking an energetic, positive‑minded Assistant Store Manager – Automotive Repair & Maintenance who embraces challenges with enthusiasm and prioritizes guest satisfaction above all else.
Compensation$70,000 – $90,000 base + $20,000 – $30,000 bonus + 3% profit sharing

- Supervise and guide a team of automotive technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to quality standards.
- Perform advanced diagnostic tests and repairs on vehicles, serving as a mentor and resource for junior technicians.
- Provide technical guidance and training to enhance the skills and capabilities of team members.
- Collaborate closely with service advisors to ensure clear communication and understanding of customer vehicle concerns.
- Oversee the scheduling of repairs and maintenance jobs to optimize shop productivity and meet customer expectations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Resolve escalated customer issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.
- Prior experience as an automotive mechanic/technician demonstrating strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Valid driver’s license & clean driving record.
- Excellent problem‑solving and diagnostic skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment to meet or exceed hourly goals.
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds.
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head.
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair.
- Have the needed dexterity to efficiently use hand‑tools.
- Walk/stand for the majority of the workday.
- Drive manual transmission vehicles.
- Keep a brisk work pace in a high‑volume environment.
- Efficiently navigate a computer.
