Workflow Analyst: 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty is a leading home warranty provider in the U.S.; serving the protection needs of new home builders and owners of new and existing homes. What is the role and where can you add value? This is a Colorado-based position, and while it is currently 100% remote using 2-10 HBW equipment, it will resume in our Aurora, Colorado office when we can safely return. The Workflow Analyst is a critical position within the Contractor Relations department. In this role, you will utilize enterprise data to maximize the performance of 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty’s nation-wide contractor network.

The position will have a special focus on balancing contractor cost and service quality requirements to ensure both competing goals are met.

Core Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for gathering and analyzing contractor cost and service performance metrics to ensure all contractors are measured equally and fairly.
  • Utilize performance metrics to arrange market configurations to maximize the balance between cost and service performance.
  • Review reports for indications contractors should be promoted or demoted, based on business rules.
  • Performs Ad-Hoc data research using business intelligence tools to obtain statistical information that allow for analysis and in-depth reports to suggest strategic and operational changes.
  • The ideal candidate will collect, monitor and study business data to create custom reports that help control costs, identify process slowdowns and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Evaluates and strategically aligns contractor enrollment requirements based on forecasted contractor capacity deficiencies while also incorporating new business development.
  • Creates account management reports using business information systems to monitor process and policy performance and/or identify opportunities for cost reductions and service improvements.
  • Enters and updates information in the contractor management system.
  • Other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Self-starter
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to develop and interpret complex data sets
  • Strong ability to identify anomalies in data
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new programs quickly
  • Intermediate skill with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) including experience with pivot tables and complex Excel formulas
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Ability to work with mathematical and statistical concepts such as fractions, % change, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
  • Previous experience in business analysis or data analysis position is a plus
  • Previous experience with service contractor terminology and business practices are a plus
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or 2-4 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and training
