Sony Interactive Entertainment (Play Station) is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to help shape the future of our Direct‑to‑Consumer businesses - Play Station Store and Play Station Direct.

You will lead the business analysis workstream for complex commercial initiatives, working with business leaders and subject‑matter experts to understand business objectives, processes and customer needs. You will translate these needs into clear, testable business requirements that Product, Engineering, Analytics and Data Science teams use to design and build new ecommerce products and supporting tools. Throughout development, you will maintain alignment between business stakeholders and delivery teams, resolving ambiguity and ensuring the resulting solutions fulfil the underlying business need.

• Translate complex business needs into clear, structured and testable business requirements that Product and Engineering teams can execute against. Remain engaged throughout design and development, resolving ambiguity and validating that the solution meets the original business need.
• Work with business leaders and subject‑matter experts to structure ambiguous problems, reconcile stakeholder needs and translate agreed objectives into clear requirements and measurable outcomes.
• Collaborate across Business, Product, Engineering, Analytics and Data Science teams to resolve issues, manage dependencies and ensure business needs are understood and fulfilled.
• Apply your understanding of customer journeys, commercial drivers and operational processes to assess how proposed products, features and business changes will affect customers and business operations.
• Map current and future‑state business processes, identify opportunities for improvement or automation and support teams in implementing and embedding the resulting changes.
• Partner with Product, Analytics and Data Science teams to test commercial hypotheses, challenge assumptions and build the case for change.
• Influence senior stakeholders within initiatives through structured problem framing, commercial reasoning and clear, evidence‑based recommendations.
• Share your experience and effective Business Analysis practices with other analysts, supporting the quality and consistency of the team’s work.

• Extensive experience in Business Analysis within digital commerce, subscriptions, retail or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience planning and leading business analysis for complex initiatives, managing multiple priorities and delivering measurable commercial or operational outcomes.
