Contrary to popular belief, our “Game Master” position has nothing to do with being a ‘gamer’ and everything to do with providing a 6-star guest experience. Heavily based on social skills, Game Masters must be enthusiastic, pleasant guides who create genuine connections with guests in a fun, helpful host role within the light‑hearted atmosphere that Red Door Escape Room provides.

• Set the tone for every experience by:
  • Hyping up players for their adventure
  • Communicating rules, guidelines and storylines in an exciting way (speaking in front of large groups is a must)
• Accurately guide and assist the team by:
  • Staying alert and focused on team progress through control‑room monitors
  • Surveying and adapting to different situations and personality types, providing hints or clues as needed
• Foster the fun and immersive experience for guests by:
  • Becoming knowledgeable about all aspects of the position and immersing guests into our stories through episodes
  • Creating special moments (e.g., guests dance or sing “Happy Birthday” for free hints)
  • Ending every experience on a high note, celebrating victories or encouraging near‑success teams
• Work in a creative team environment by:
  • Collaborating with others and living by company values
  • Using downtime to complete maintenance projects or tasks that improve episode quality (e.g., painting or prop repair)

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Available to work at least two of the three weekend days
