Seasonal Tax-Manager-Real Estate FSO-Remote

Key Responsibilities

• There isn’t an average day for a Seasonal Real Estate Tax Senior Manager – you’ll spend time on a variety of tax planning projects, responsibilities and tasks for a diverse client base. You’ll provide up-to-the-minute tax advice clients can rely on and will be leading teams in a highly collaborative culture where listening and information sharing are essential.

• Lead teams and work collaboratively to deliver tax planning and advisory services for real estate clients across the sector.

Skills And Attributes For Success

• Analytical work on evolving portfolios of increasingly complex tax operations to provide meaningful business insights.

• Identify opportunities and risks and communicate these to clients.

• Learn and research current market trends to maintain credibility as a trusted advisor.

• Build client relationships and demonstrate deep knowledge of the real estate, hospitality and construction industry.

• Develop clear, intelligent plans to improve clients’ tax activities.

• Research clients’ business operations and tailor advice to their specific needs.

• Supervise a motivated team of professionals, ensuring they have the skills, knowledge and opportunities to reach their full potential.

To qualify for the role you must have

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.

• Seven to ten years of real estate tax experience in a professional services environment.

• Extensive knowledge in real estate tax technical and transaction skills, including partnership taxation, REITs taxation and qualification, partnership allocations, tax compliance, due diligence, acquisition/disposition planning and structuring.

• Experience managing budgets, people and projects.

• Business development within the market.

• A proven record of excellence in a professional services or tax organization.

• Technical writing and research experience in a tax context.

• The ability to prioritize on multiple complex projects.

• Strong influencing skills and the confidence to question existing processes.

• Willingness to travel as needed and to work in a balanced hybrid environment.

You'll also have

• CPA qualification or be a member of a state bar.

Compensation

The salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $120/hr to $150/hr individual salaries within those ranges are determined by factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
