Role OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Localization Technical Program Manager, a highly efficient, motivated, and technically skilled individual who thrives in a fast‑paced, global environment.
You will work across cross‑functional teams, bridging engineering, QA, localization, and product development, to define and deliver next‑generation localization tools, workflows, and test systems. You will champion technical excellence in internationalization, localization QA, and automation to help ensure a world‑class experience for players around the world.

ResponsibilitiesProgram Management & Delivery:
- Partner with diverse teams across engineering, QA, content, and production to make sure localization procedures function effectively and match product launch calendars.
- Manage project timelines, dependencies, and risk across multiple teams, products, and release cycles.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Localization, QA, and Engineering teams for all technical integration matters.
- Champion localization requirements and advocate for feature implementation within Play Station’s internal tool ecosystems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement new localization features and APIs. This includes integrations with third‑party tools such as Translation Management System (TMS), Content Management System (CMS), and build systems.
- Define localization requirements for automation and continuous integration pipelines to support agile localization at scale.
Quality Assurance & Automation:
- Detect opportunities to refine the localization QA process and guide the introduction of automation solutions.
- Define and maintain test automation backlogs and plans for localization QA across all projects.
- Collaborate with automation engineers to guarantee localization test coverage for UI, functional, and linguistic quality.
Process & Strategy:
- Investigate and implement industry guidelines for localization engineering, testing, and process management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize localization workflows, reduce cycle time, and enhance delivery quality.
- Create and maintain process documentation, localization playbooks, and knowledge‑sharing resources for internal and vendor teams.
Cross‑Functional & Global
Collaboration:
- Collaborate across global time zones with partners to align localization deliverables with Play Station’s global release strategy.
- Build relationships with external localization partners, ensuring high standards of quality, security, and efficiency.
- Facilitate communication between global teams to resolve blockers, clarify requirements, and align on testing and release readiness.
- Education: BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in localization, internationalization, or technical program management.
- Proven track record managing localization QA, automation, or engineering programs within a global organization.
- Experience working in Agile/SAFe settings.
- In‑depth understanding of localization testing, internationalization issues, and multi‑language release pipelines.
