Litigation Associate

Description

We are seeking a Litigation Associate to join a growing law firm based in San Mateo, California, particularly in the field of complex intellectual property litigation.

Responsibilities:

- Handle complex litigation cases, with a focus on patent and intellectual property disputes

- Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare detailed legal documents

- Engage in discovery and motion practice, managing a substantive portion of litigation matters

- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and understand their business needs

- Collaborate with team members to strategize and execute litigation processes effectively

- Take the lead in preparing for oral arguments and depositions

- Ensure all litigation activities comply with the applicable laws and regulations

- Utilize your technical aptitude to understand and manage cases related to intellectual property

- Work efficiently and creatively to resolve disputes in favor of our clients

Requirements

+ 1-5+ years of complex litigation experience, preferably in the areas of IP

+ Must be CA barred

+ Must be able to work onsite 5 days per week
