The ideal candidate is an analytical team player who will be responsible for leading and owning the entire product lifecycle from strategy to evaluation. You will also work cross-functionally to complete product roadmaps and discover new opportunities.
As the Product Manager, you will lead a new line of business. In this role, your mission will be to build the most advanced and performance detection and response system in the industry. You will grow our suite of traditional and AI powered sensors, and build out solutions which support everything from retailers managing hundreds of small stores to manufacturing with massive one million square foot warehouses – and everything in between.
We are committed to a thriving in-office culture. This role requires you to work onsite at our HQ in San Mateo, CA.
Responsibilities- Own our new product hardware and software product roadmap. Understand customers’ detection needs and physical site topologies, and translate those requirements into a landed, successful products
- Oversee product development from concept to success, working closely with hardware and software engineering to ensure those devices meet customer needs and development timelines
- Manage direct pricing, go-to-market positioning, and sales training for new Alarms devices
- Understand the needs of customers and channel partners, ensuring our product scales from small to large with simplicity, speed, and flexibility
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar quantitative field. MS, PhD, or MBA optional
- Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
- Proven history of launching and scaling hardware and/or embedded systems products
- Strong customer intuition, technical depth, and ability to navigate tradeoffs are critical to success in this role
- Ability to lead across strategy and execution. We pride ourselves in sweating the details and search for this in candidates
- Foundational understanding of firmware, networking, device bring-up, electrical, and mechanical design aspects of hardware
