Description:
The ICU Registered Nurse provides care to critically ill patients.
The role involves monitoring patient conditions and responding to changes.
Administration of medications and treatments as prescribed is essential.
Responsibilities include managing complex medical equipment and technology.
Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is required to ensure patient wellbeing.
Experience with the management of patients with multi-system organ dysfunction is preferred.
Participation in care planning and patient education is part of the role.
The nurse will engage in continuous learning and professional development.
Strong communication skills are necessary for effective patient and family interactions.
Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to float to other units is expected.
