Business Development, Sales Development Rep/SDR

Our software streamlines First Article Inspection (FAI) reporting, ensures compliance with AS9102 standards, and reduces the risk of errors and delays. By integrating powerful data processing capabilities with an intuitive user interface, we help manufacturers optimize their quality management processes.
This position is intended to be on-site working with local and remote counter parts. However for the right candidate we will consider remote or hybrid work.
What you’ll doAs an early member of our go-to-market team, you’ll be responsible for evangelizing Ground Control to potential customers and closing new business. This role is for someone who’s excited to hunt big new logos from outreach to demos to closing deals. This is a unique opportunity to join a small but mighty team shaping the future of critical US manufacturing.
- Build your own outbound pipeline
- Manage a pipeline of sales opportunities
- Design and deliver compelling product presentations/demos that articulate quantifiable ROI
- Manage a well-run sales process, always ensuring to set and hold meaningful next steps
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing and engineering to ensure a seamless sales process
- Become an expert in Ground Control’s product suite so that you can advise prospects on best practices
- Continuously deepen your industry and technical knowledge to position our value proposition effectively
- 1.5+ years of quota-carrying sales experience in the Mid Market/ Enterprise Segment with a consistent track record of over-achievement
- Self-motivated and ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- A US Citizen — due to the nature of our customers and their work, this is a hard requirement.
- Experience gathering analytics from a SQL database
- 3+ years experience working in a customer success / operations related role
- Experience working with manufacturing customers
You will talk directly with customers from needs, to design, to production code. You will own entire features end-to-end.
