Founded in 2017 and based in California, Pony Express HQ is a fast-growing startup building the next-generation smart marketing automation solution for messaging platforms. We are looking for a motivated Front End Developer who can contribute to a growing product and culture.

• Apply computer science course knowledge to real-world problems.
• Design, implement, test, and maintain features based on projects.
• Follow mentoring as specified.
• Build monitoring and alerting tools to prevent application downtime; participate in weekly on-call rotations to resolve infrastructure issues quickly when the application is unavailable.
• Become a product expert and customer champion.

• Working experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Node.js.
• Extra points: knowledge of databases, in-memory storage, No
  
  SQL and key-value stores, strong understanding of TDD, unit and automated tests.
• Fixing website issues or bugs as they arise.
• Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• Ability to work independently and within a geographically distributed engineering team.
• Coding experience in any programming language.
• Ability to speak and write in English.
• Experience approaching software engineering problems systematically and independently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive, self-motivated attitude.
