Peninsula Golf & Country Club is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Head Dive Coach to

lead our summer diving program. This role is responsible for the instruction, development, and

safety of youth divers while fostering a positive, team-oriented environment consistent with

PGCC aquatics standards.

• Plan, organize, and conduct safe, structured, and engaging dive practices
• Teach and develop proper diving technique, progressions, and fundamentals
• Prepare athletes for summer league competitions and meets
• Maintain discipline, safety, and professionalism on deck at all times
• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and aquatics leadership
• Support a positive, inclusive, and growth-focused team culture
• Adhere to all PGCC policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Keep up to date with all diving team related administrative work

• Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment that promotes sportsmanship, teamwork, and individual growth.
• Plan team-building activities and events to strengthen team spirit and engagement.
• Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to divers, focusing on their improvement and confidence.
• Team merchandise coordination:
  Coordinate the ordering and distribution of swim team merchandise, such as apparel, caps, and team gear.

• Prior experience coaching springboard diving preferred
• Strong knowledge of diving techniques, progressions, and safety practices
• Ability to work effectively with children of varying ages and skill levels
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Lifeguard CPR/AED/First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
• USA Diving certification preferred but not required
