• Read/write English and communicate with customers and co‑workers.
• Read simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed but straightforward written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift 25 lbs, frequently 45 lbs, occasionally 60 lbs.
• Basic PC/Outlook skills (extra awesome).
• Retail Management Certificate (extra awesome).

A part‑time store associate performs management‑assigned duties, including stocking, maintaining store sections, carry‑out services, and store cleaning.

• Maintain a store section and stock merchandise using proper equipment (excluding power/heavy equipment).
• Ensure proper pricing, check product date codes for rotation, stock shelves, end displays, floor stacks, displays and refrigerated/frozen cases.
• Prepare perishable products for sale.
• Set up advertising/promotional displays.
• Clean and maintain sanitation standards in all interior and exterior areas of the store and parking lot as directed.
• Offer friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous assistance to customers.
• Load customer purchases into vehicle when requested.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties, including recording lost/damaged goods and store supplies.
