Payroll Administrative Assistant - San Rafael, CA
Salary: $50k - $60k per year
Our client, a well‑established growing construction firm in the North Bay, is currently looking to bring on a Payroll Administrator to focus on Certified Payroll.
Responsibilities- Support payroll with unapproved tracking, garnishment mailings, and check stuffing
- Confirm details and certified payroll for requisite projects
- Upload and track certified payroll reports/submittals on various platforms (DIR, LCP tracker)
- Check cost reports to confirm correct data
- Match contract pricing with outgoing records
- Track time and materials data
- Process outstanding garnishment mailings
- Validate invoices for material, quantity, and pricing against tags/purchase orders
- Assist with weekly extra work bill processing
An ideal person will have some accounting experience with strong Excel skills. Prior accounting experience is a big plus.
