Automotive Technician

Heynneman European is a BMW and foreign car service and repair shop located in San Rafael, CA. We specialize in servicing Mercedes, Porsche, Audi, VW, Volvo, and some Japanese vehicles. This is a full-time on-site role for an Automotive Technician located in San Rafael, CA. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of foreign car models including BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Audi, VW, Volvo. Day-to-day tasks include performing service, diagnostics, suspension work, brake repairs, exhaust repairs, transmission service, clutch replacements, windshield repairs, paint and upholstery work, as well as handling electrical and mechanical repairs.

• Experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining foreign cars
• Proficiency in tire service, suspension work, and brake repairs
• Skills in alignment, exhaust repairs, and transmission service
• Knowledge in performing clutch replacements, windshield repairs, and electrical work
• Ability to perform paint, upholstery, detailing, and restoration work
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• ASE certification or equivalent is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
