The Assistant Resident Manager assists the Resident Manager in operating the site to ensure effective fiscal, physical, and social soundness. The role requires initiative, problem‑solving, and minimal supervision.

• Assist with collecting rent, bank deposits, and preparing & submitting rent roll and income verification
• Monitor work orders and conduct daily ground walks
• Answer telephone calls, file documents, and prepare correspondence
• Assist residents with questions or problems
• Assist with evictions, annual inspections, and repairs
• Assist with re‑certifications: resident notification, setting up appointments, tracking

• 1+ year of affordable housing property‑management experience
• Knowledge of HUD, TCAC, DFEH, and ADA guidelines
• Skilled problem‑solving and resident relations
• Strong computer and phone skills

EAH Housing conducts criminal background checks for all candidates after a conditional offer. Approval requires passing background and verification checks. On‑site housing roles may require household members over 18 years old to undergo criminal history and tenant screening.
