Tamal Vista Family Dentistry- home to Dr. McDowell, Dr. Dan Scott, and Chris Bayer- is seeking a full-time Registered Dental Assistant to join our supportive and collaborative back-office team.

Position is 38 hours Mon-Fri, occasional Saturdays Salary: BOE, $30-38/hour

Dental assistants are vital in our office and the right candidate should possess the following qualities:
- Eager, quick learner
- Warm, calm, and caring personality
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Detail oriented and organized
- Reliable
- Computer knowledge and efficiency
- Motivated/Self-Starter
- Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Chairside assisting and patient centered service
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment and operatory
- Procedure and operatory setup and preparation
- Take x-rays with Nodmad portable unit, CBCT, and intra oral 3D scanning
- Stocking supplies
- Temporary crowns and veneers
- Treatment planning, charting, and scheduling (Open Dental Software)
- Communicate effectively with team and patients
- Current California RDA license ~ 2 years’ experience preferred
- Working knowledge of dental equipment and terminology, OSHA and safety compliance
- Computer practice software experience and phone skills
