Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Trainee – Training & RBT Certification Offered!

• Location:
  
  Marin County - San Rafael and Novato
• Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour, pay increase after you get your RBT certification!
• Job Type: PART-TIME (10 hours - 25+ hours per week)
• Schedule:
  
  Monday to Sunday, anywhere from 8AM-8:00PM. Preference is given to candidates with availability 2:00-8:00pm
• Work Setting:
  Home-based care

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Trainee
, you will provide direct, 1:1 behavioral support to children with autism or other disabilities in their homes. Your role will involve implementing individualized behavioral programs, collecting data on client progress, and working closely with families to ensure a positive and supportive environment. This is a fantastic entry-level position for anyone interested in psychology, education, social work, therapy, or special education.

You'll be making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families! We’ll pay you for your 40 hours of training, and once you pass the RBT exam, we’ll cover the cost! You’ll have access to online training, session overlaps, and hands‑on support to help you prepare. Certification must be completed within 90 to 180 days of your start date.

• Deliver 1:1 behavior programs in clients' homes (training provided)
• Engage with children in a fun and energetic way to support learning and development
• Collect accurate data on client progress
• Collaborate with families to provide a safe, supportive environment
• Participate in team meetings and receive ongoing training and mentorship

• Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for working with children
• RBT certification is a plus, but we will cover the cost of obtaining it!

• Spanish‑speaking is a plus
• CPR & First Aid Certification is required
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
• Reliability and a willingness to work with a variety of clients
• Experience with children or individuals with disabilities is a plus, but not required
• Behavioral knowledge/experience is preferred, but not necessary
• Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation is required
• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Availability to work a consistent schedule (afternoons/evenings with some weekend/morning availability)
• Eligibility to work in the U.S.
• This job requires reliable transportation, valid auto insurance, and valid driver’s license

• This job requires a Physical (past year) and TB Test (past 90 days)
• This job requires a valid CPR & First Aid Certification
