Part-Time Speech Language Pathologist; Pediatrics

Overview

San Rafael, CA – Cortica is hiring a part‑time Speech Language Pathologist to join our growing multidisciplinary team. The first year bonus is $5,000 and hourly pay ranges from $60 to $70.

• Establish speech and language treatment goals using dynamic and standardized assessment tools.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary team members to create integrated treatment plans and strategies.
• Provide individual therapy sessions as well as group and co‑treats with other disciplines as appropriate.
• Maintain patient records, documentation, and billing in accordance with federal, state regulations and company policy.
• Implement play‑based and goal‑based interventions that address receptive and expressive language skills while considering sensory, motor, and regulation differences.
• Facilitate functional and stimulating experiences to target and achieve individualized goals.
• Develop strategies and supports to help the individual engage in communication experiences across settings.
• Collaborate with the individual and family to understand their values, interests, and goals.
• Implement programming that considers all aspects of the child, including sensorimotor, cognitive, communicative, recreational, and social activities.
• Contribute to program development and educate patients, families, team members, and caregivers on home programs.
• Deliver at least 22.75 hours of direct patient care each week, excluding training, documentation, and administrative meetings.

• Licensed Speech and Language Pathologist in California.
• Excellent clinical skills and desire to work in a multidisciplinary clinical setting.
• Flexible and open to learning with a passion for working with children.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required; reasonable accommodations may be made.
• Occasional lifting or moving up to 40 pounds.
